An Acrostic Wedding Sonnet
Joy returns, as turbulence subsides, and
Open clouds reveal the constant sun.
Dance, let's dance, and celebrate the bride!
Your wedding day, Jody, has finally come.
Art is stern, a demanding mistress, yet
Love embraces all the world. You're used to
Endless guesting, ever on the road. But
Never fear. With Allen wed, you two will
Quell the storm with intertwining hearts, and
Nurture Quentin in your mutual love.
Together, happy bride and groom, embark
Now on the fertile journey of your life.
To consecrate your nuptials and new home,
I bring a painting, music, and this poem.
