I worked on this project as an acoustical consultant for Artec Consultants in New York.

This 600 seat hall for a summer performing arts festival is located on a gorgeous site overlooking the St. Lawrence. It is a classic shoebox with narrow balconies, overhead canopy, inaudible background levels, and fully adjustable reverberation.

I worked with the client to develop a detailed program for excellent chamber music acoustics. In the design of the hall, the program was carried out resulting in this gem of a hall. The approach to this hall underlies my approach to all modest-sized performance spaces on which I work.

The architects were Michel Gallienne and Pierre Gingras.
