I worked on this project as an acoustical consultant at Artec Consultants, Inc. in New York

This multi-hall performing arts center, which opened in October 1997, contains two halls. Prudential Hall , a 2,700 seat multipurpose lyric theatre, which hosts symphony orchestras, opera and ballet companies, contemporary dance troupes, jazz artists, pop musicians, and Broadway musicals. The smaller, more intimate Victoria Theater is home to dramatic works, chamber music, lectures, and film. Of particular interest from the point of view of acoustics is the extremely quiet level of background noise. Located in the midst of urban Newark New Jersey, neither the ventilation system nor the outside world are audible. This allows crystal clear audibility of the performance.

The architect of this festive and beautiful building is Barton Myers.
