I worked on this project as an acoustical consultant for Artec Consultants in New York.
The renovation of this historical opera house includes an interesting noise problem. A restaurant with live amplified music is planned for the ground floor, not far from the rehearsal room. A thorough noise study was made-using a live rock band-as part of the design to prevent any noise produced in the restaurant from reaching the rehearsal room.
