I worked on this project as an acoustical consultant for Artec Consultants in New York.
This center is composed of a 1640-seat multi-purpose auditorium, and rehearsal hall. The audience chamber has two balconies the sides that extend down from the balcony to the main floor. The sides of this construction are designed to provide strong, diffuse sound reflections to audience members on the main floor.
The architect for this colorful, brash design is Arquitectonica out of Miami.
